The Modular Spaceship is constructed of modules of the same size and shape - a cube - with linking and communication links at each corner.

The principle of the modular construction is to make positive use of those aspects of space that appear to present barriers to life.

Every aspect of these spaceships is to provide living areas for all aspects of life.

Each Cube will be in the region of 15-20 meters square - this size will be determined by the maximum needed for the main propulsion engines - only to be used in space.

20% of the modules will have their own maneuvering engines for reconstruction of the module shape in space
